Sorry, it have been to long. But there is just not enough hours :-(
Loads of things is happening :-)
First of all, we have gotten our Lilo and Savanah home again, which is amazing :-) Savanah is soo special to me and I didn’t realize how much before i had to miss her, even tough she have had a great stay at Paul and Lisa and I will never be able to thank theese special friends enough <3
Lilo is Savanah daughter and she’s thereby “homemade” I wanted to do this breeding between Savanah and Hugo from the first time I saw Hugo and even more after his stay here with me. So far I believe I’ve been right because the entire litter is really great, they’re all very strong and hopefully they will keep that way ;-) But you never know with DDB’s.
Lilo is a true pleasure, she’s good looking and her temper is great, I enjoy every day with her and so do Villas, theese two will be the best friends ever, they already are :-)
Soon we’re on your way to Holland to show at young dog day and the weekend after we’ll go to the dobbelshow in Roskilde.
After the trip to Holland, there’ll be a new male here at kennel Siem, We’re taking home Redripraw Ultimate Judge, he’s the brother to Justice and I can’t wait to get him home and show him in Roskilde even though I feel the pressure, Judge was best in oppisite at crufts, which is one of the biggest wins you can ever get, so hopefulle him and me will be as good a team as justice and I was ;-)
After The nationals in Frnace i took home Redipraw Ultimate Justice, who is a son of the world famous Rolex, that lives in America and his mother is Redipraw helena, called Molly, who is one of the best producing females i know, she is so strong in her offspring.
Justice is x-rayed with A hips and ED 0
Justice is owned by my dear friends Scott and Kelly from England and we agreed that i should take Justice home, so i could show him and breed him to my Nougat.
We had our first show in Herning and we did good, Justice got BOB both days and now just need his last certificate to be danish champion :-)
As a reward for his winning he got to breed Nougat and we now have to wait until the middle of december to do a scan of her :-)
I have very high hopes for this litter, since their pedigrees will compliment eachother nicely.
I still have trouble with uploading pictures, but they will follow soon :-)
Great news to tell :-)
I can happily tell that Savanah is with pups with Hugo and the pups are due in the end of november. I’m over the moon with this combination and I look so much forward to this litter :-)
And Nougat is in heat, so hopefully she will soon be with pups aswell… Finally after 8 years it looks like there will be som kennel Siem pups :-)
Apart from that we have been on a long holiday in Holland and France and we did 3 shows, we did Rotterdam and Emelie did a great job with Savanh being 3 best open female :-)
At the eurodogshow she turned out 2 best open female :-)
And she ended with the grand finale at the french clubmatch winning Championclass… I’m sooo proud of my beatiful girl, this was just the greatest feeling :-)
We stayed the weeks between the shows in Holland and France, Me Villas, Emilie and Filip and spend the time with good friends :-) Thank you all for making this holiday so special :-*
Appart from that I took home Redipraw Justice from France, he’s a 22 month old male bred by a very good friend of mine Scott Hamblet from the UK. Justice is an amazing boy, he’s such a sweet character.
Justice is out of Redipraw Helena and Rolex and he has fci A hips and AA:0, Justice is a gorgeous boy and I’ll show him this year and the spring aswell, which I look so much forward to :-)
A special thank to Scott for trusting me this lovely boy :-*
This weekend will be spend at the danish winner show in Herning, which I look so much forward to, not often that I have 2 months of showbreak, so I can’t wait to spend time with good friends.
After that we’ll seriously go into puppymode and Villas and I can’t wait to be covered in pups.
Long time have passed since last time again. Not, that nothing is going on, since much more have happend than ever before :-)
The 21. th. of june Villas was born, so now there is a new junior handler in the process here at kennel Siem/Emphil. He is born into the dogworld and I can’t say enough how much it means to us, that all our “dog” friends have responed so loving and caring to our little man.
Villas was at his first show at only 5 weeks and he did great he had a ride on Bull Di Al Faree :-)
Otherwise we had the danish clubmatch in june and I must say that it was quite a show and so nice to spend time with lots of friends and there was plenty of laughs, which make all the hard work worth it.
My own two girls did great, Savanah was DDDBK winner 2011 and BIM on saturday under MR. Jesus Sanchez, she showed like never before my girl and I’m so proud of her, she is a true pleasure. Sunday she was 3. best female under Anne Marie Class.
Nougat was 4. th. best in intermediate class on saturday and second on sunday, she also is a joy in the showring.
In Vejen Savanah didn’t get her final certificate for championship, but was place 3. th best female on the two days she was shown, but we lost to Villas dad, so as long as it stays in the family we can’t complain :-)
3 weeks ago Nougat was X-rayed on her hips, and the result came the other day and she has A hips, which is pretty rare to be given here in DK on our breed, so I’m ofcourse over the moon with this result, even though I have always seen her as healthy and to me health is more than just letters and numbers, but the letter and numbers decide if I’m able to breed my dogs, so in that way I’m really happy.
Nougat will be bred within this year with Bidyle Roy de Le’tang De Mirloup, so hopefully we’ll be having little red ones around new year :-)
On saturday we have another show close to home, were we cross your fingers that Savanh get’s her last win and become danish champion :-)
And the week after we go to Holland for Rotterdam show, the dutch clubmatch, eurodog show and the french clubmatch, so we’ll be having almost 3 weeks of holiday to be spent in Holland and France.
See you all very soon and take care until :-)
This is gonna be the hardest update I have ever made and maybe I shouldn’t do it, but I feel that it might help and I need to do it.
Friday the 15 of april I said goodbye to my special girl Baja :-(
I got Baja almost 8 years ago and she was my first DDB, I meet her first time being 5 weeks old and for some reason I had set my eyes on her even before I knew, that this was my girl.
Baja was a fun and atypically DDB, I used to call her my french labrador, because she could run as fast as nobody else and she demanded a lot of excersice and brainstimulation or else I would come home to a house being redecorated. So for that reason I can honestly say that she managed to live her life to the fullest and even until the end, she still wanted to do everything and she still managed to show that she was the queen of the house.
Baja have spend her life in the fast lane, so her back was worned down and I could do nothing about it, so she began having trouble holding herself and she was getting weak in her behind, but she was still in a good mood, eating, running, playing and telling the other dogs off. So I just had to do some cleaning after her and i would do that until my last day as long as I could defend having her around.
But last week she woke me up in the middle of the night, she was having a cramp in one of her behind legs and I gave her a rub, some painkillers and took her for a walk outside, while I was crying my heart out, because I felt so powerless in the midle of the night and she looked at me, that everything was just fine and soon it was all over again and she just stayed besides me like always.
I decided to take her to my dear vet and let him do another check on her and give me his honest opinion, because he have known her and me for many years and I trust him with my own life and I know that he would do absolutly everything for Baja but I also knew that he would tell me if it was time…
Unfortunally he told me that it was time, because it would be a matter of short time and maybe she would have to leave me in a not pleasant way, he said that she was still young and fresh in spirit but her body was old and tired and she was fighting for me and her mind even though her body couldn’t keep up :-(
We went for our last walk together and these steps was harder then any other steps I have ever taken and she was so happy and full of life as always, but for some reason she also gave me the strenght to do the right thing.
My vet is the most amazing person and I’m so thankfull for his way of being and I owe him so much.
Together we said goodbye and she stayed with us for a long time before she finally went away. I can’t remember ever feeling so empthy inside…
I still forget that she’s not here anymore and everytime I open the door I wait for her to come running to me and wanting me to sit down, so she can give me a hug and a kiss :-(( I think this feeling will stay with me for a long long time, since she has been with me for a long time and I cant imagne a day not sending her a hug and a kiss in my mind.
Luckily I soon begang having a smile on my face when I come to think of her, because even though living without her is hard, having her in my life is worth all the pain.. And we have so many good, funny and happy memories together that it makes it hard not to smile instead og crying…
Finally I want to send her breeder Charlotte a deeply thank you for giving me the oppertonity to have this special girl in my life and I ´could never ever have asked for more :-))
Sleep tight my little girl and thank you so much for being my girl :-*
Willsanburg Libertin Avec Bourgeois aka Hugo is now at Kennel Siem on a danish holiday :-)
I have been in love with Hugo since he was a young boy and I love his type, so I’m very happy to have Hugo on a holiday.
We had a great time in the UK once again and the trip home with Hugo went well, he’s so well behaved and used to travelling, so it didn’t seem to matter to him :-)
Hugo has a great personality and he’s in looove with Nougat and Savanah, since they’re both in heat and he acts like he have landed at the playboy mansion :-) He’s such a happy and loving boy and he spends loads of time on top of me, because he loves to kiss and cuddle :-)
Hugo will be shown on his holiday, so you’ll be able to see us around the rings the next couple of months :-)
Finally I’ll like to thank my dear friends Lisa and Paul, who’s the owners of Hugo for trusting him to me and I promise you, that he’s being treathed as the king he surely is :-)
Since last time I have been at CRUFTS in Birmingham and we had a great weekend with lots of good friends :-) I handled a 15 months old boy Redipraw Jugde for my friend Scott Hamblett and we came in 3 th. in a very big class, so that was quite and experience :-)
The next show abroad is young dog day in Holland and again there’ll be time to enjoy a good laugh with the crazy dutch, english, swedish and offcourse danish friends :-) But before that, we have a couple of danish shows..
Take care :-))

We had our first show this year and to me and Savanah it was a funny experience, since we were given a very good :-(
I was not happy with this, since I think my girl is so much better than this but soon I had nothing but laugh towards it, since Savanah has been jugdes by a breedspecialist who thought highly of her and placed her with some of the best girls in the world :-)
The day on the other hand was a very good day, Katrine and Filip just had birthdays, so we celebrated with singing, cake and red soda :-)
Savanah was asked to be lent out for the juniorhandling competetion and i ofcourse said yes to this, so Martin handled her very nicely and they unfortunally didn’t get placed, but they still did a great job for a first time :-))
Ditte my dearest friend from kennel turners pride have taken a lot of fotos of my girl and i think she looks amazing, once again a big thanks to Ditte, who I can highly recommend for doing fotojobs for reasonale prices :-))
Otherwise I’m busy with work and some planning for the rest of the year :-))
Unfortunally Baja is not doing so good at the moment and she’s strong and fit but is having a hard time holding herself, so hopefully the vet can help us…
Enjoy the pictures of Savanah and put up with me aswell :-))
It has been quite some time, since anything new has been here..sorry :-(
We have just been busy and too lazy to update here :-)
I want to thank friends from all over the world for their greetings at x-mas and new year, it means a lot :-))
2010 have been a good year for my little kennel, two new girls Nougat and Savanah, both means the world to me.
Savanah had her first show in Amsterdam at the winner show in november and she did great, she was placed 4 th. in open females and she was a true joy to show, the transformation she has made is indescribable. She had a great owner before, but for some reason I think she was meant to live here, since she is a completly different dog today, she has gone from being a bit spooked at new people and things to being the most confident dog in the world :-)) I can never tell how much I appreciate her former owner for giving her to me :-)
Savanah and I will be found in the showrings this spring and then she’ll be bred in her coming heat with a stunning male, but much more about this later on :-))
Nougat just turned one year and is still just a baby, but at times a baby from hell ;-)) She’s on a showbreak, since she’s to small in most judges taste right now, she’ll never be a big girl, but she has a lot of other things and everything fits nicely together, so maybe in some months she’ll be ready for some show action again.
Harry is just enjoying life :-) I’ll try to show him a bit more in 2011, since he’s a quite handsome boy and he has lost some weight, since his breeder thought life was a bit to good, so he’s in exellent condition for the showring now ;-)
Baja is getting older, she’s still going strong, but time is catching up with us, she’s having a bit trouble with her behind, but she’s still running as fast as Nougat and she’s still a happy girl with loads of power, so hopefully we’ll have some years to go still :-) We have agreed to enter the showring after june in veteran class a couple of times, even though she was retired and not the most perfect show dog, but with health and movement like hers, we just want to show off a bit ;-))
Soon the showyear begins and Savanah is entered in Fredericia.
Otherwise I’m looking forward to a small trip to Holland next week and spend some time with friends and then Cruft is on in match and I’m looking very much forward to this trip aswell :-))
Thank you all for a great 2010 and see you all in 2011 :-))
Savanah on her first show :-))
Last night on facebook I saw an add in the right corner of my screen and I thought to myself “Ihave seen this picture before and I know this dog. ” I pressed the add and I came to the site and in bed number 2 on the front page was my Baja :-)
My aunt made this picture for her company 7 ½ years ago and they couldn’t get the picture right and she called me and was like “I need to borrow your red wrinkly puppy to get the add right. ” I was working and I send my girlfriend Nini out there with Baja and they got this amazing picture out of it.
The add was used in a catalogue in France and I have never seen the picture other places than at my grandmothers wall, since she wanted the picture from the shot of her “granddaughter” on the family wall ;-))
I can tell you all it made me very emotionel, since the picture is so old and even though it’s old Baja was standing besides me with her head in my lap looking at her own picture :-)) This is a wonderful feeling but also a reminder that time is passing by.
So here the evening was spend walking down memorylane with my oldie but goodie :-))
Take a look at my greatest love in life at www.japanskemoebler.dk in bed no. 2 :-))
There has been some shows since last time, Nougat and i was in Sweden to a show in Åstrop, where she won her class, but the show wasn’t that important since my good friends from kennel shadow of oak just had an attack on their boy Bailey and we were in the ring right after, so I wasn’t there mentally and can’t remember much from the ring :-((
Even though the day ended good with spending time with good friends at kennel doguehills :-))
There has also been a show in Herning and this show was one big laugh for Nougat and I since she one day got sufficant and the other day good :-(( Nougat is a small girl that’s gonna need time and she’s never gonna be a big lady which I’m quite pleased with, since she has the movement and energy as a whippet and I wouldn’t want her any other way :-)) But we’re taking some time off from the show ring and give her some time to develop, so the showtime begins for Savanah now :-))
The weekend in Herning was a mixed experience, since I saw the worst side of the dogworld but i also enjoyed the best side of the dogworld, spending time with good and dear friends and their lovely dogs.
At home everybody is doing great, Harry is beeing the king of the pack and just enjoying life, there will some shows on his path next year aswell :-))
Savanah has just been to heat and she’ll be breed in her next heat, much more about that later on :-)) She’s doing great and she’s such a mammys girl, she screams and cries when I leave home and she prefers to be besides me the entire time and her head is practially living in my lap and if others is getting more attention than her… yearh she takes the spoon in the other hand and scratches me, so I at times look like “stribet flæsk” :-))
Baja is as you can read further up getting older and she’s not as strong as she used to, but she’s still fit for fight and is still barking and running after everybody that passes her house, so she’s still living the same active life as before even though I take her for smaller walk every second day and the others she walks with the rest og the gang without a leash in front of them all like the queen she is :-))
Nougat is killing me, since she destroys something on a dayli basis right now and she jumps the kitchen table but the worst part is she doesn’t feel sorry even though she’s caught in the act… So even though she gets her walks, gets trained, and have some challenges to her head, she’s just up to something. She also has the gift of beeing so increadible charming and sweet, so she’s a tough one and she doesn’t take my treaths about one way ticket to Croatia or bordingschool seriously… wonder why ;-))
This was a bit about everything here in kennel Siem and soon we’re off to the Amsterdamwinnershow and I cant wait to spend time with you all :-))
This puppy “Emphils André Agassi” is looking for a new nice home :-))
He’s 13 weeks old and have showquality.
His parents are Doguehills Bianca, who just won champion class in France and his father is Rozeldouge Smooth Operator.
You can find more information on the parents on www.emphils.dinstudio.se
